Jason Hughes was appointed Sky’s Head of Branded Content in March 2010. During this time he has overseen Sky’s strategy and positioning in the emerging Product Placement market and its evolution into wider media activation; including Tresemme’s long-running partnership of Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model, and the multi partnered A League of Their Own with Xbox, Visa and now Right Guard. In Brand co-funded content Jason has overseen partnerships at Sky with British Heart Foundation’s Angina Monologues, Npower’s What’s Your Goal, Sky Living’s Show Me Your Wardrobe (with Collection and Krempelwood) and the recently announced Launching People project with Samsung and Sky 1, featuring Idris Elba, Gizzy Erskine, Rankin and Paloma Faith . Prior to taking up his role as Head of Branded Content, Jason was Sky’s Deputy Head of Compliance and Editorial Policy.
