Amanda Richman

As US CEO, Amanda Richman is leading the launch of Wavemaker, a brand new billion-dollar revenue media, content and technology agency born from the merger of GroupM’s leading global networks, MEC and Maxus.

Amanda’s 25-plus years of experience in digital, investment, innovation and client leadership puts her at the center of the agency’s transformation as she enables its nearly 800 talented people across six U.S. offices to deliver transformation for clients including Adobe, Church & Dwight, IKEA, L’Oréal and Paramount, among others.

Prior to Wavemaker, Amanda served as President of Starcom USA, overseeing the agency’s investment and innovation strategy and activation across all channels and clients, including Bank of America, Kraft Heinz and Samsung, among others. As a digital native, her career also includes digital leadership roles on Procter & Gamble and Walmart at MediaVest, management of Interpublic’s first digital division, McCann Interactive, and client leadership for Time Warner’s first digital venture, The Full Service Network.
