Wade Davis

Former NFL player Wade Davis is an intersectional feminist, writer, public speaker, and educator on gender, race, and orientation equality. Davis is currently a senior ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ consultant at YSC, the world's premier independent leadership consultancy and the NFL’s first LGBT and gender ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ consultant.During the 2012 presidential election, Wade was an official LGBT Surrogate for President Obama, and is both a United Nations Women HeForShe Ambassador and a U.S. State Department Speaker Specialist.

Davis is a frequent guest on MSNBC, BBC, NPR, CNN, and ESPN. His writings have appeared in the LA Times, NYT, the Guardian, Ebony magazine and others. He has spoken at and/or provided workshops/trainings at over 100 universities and corporations nationally and internationally. As an educator, Davis was an adjunct professor at NYU and Rutgers University. In 2014 Davis received an honorary Doctor of Public Service degree from Northeastern University.
