Michael Levine is Co-Head of CAA Sports, a division of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), which in seven years since its inception has become the foremost player representation firm and sports marketing agency in the United States, representing more than 950 of the world’s best athletes in such sports as football, baseball, hockey, basketball, tennis, soccer, and golf, in addition to icons in individual sports, coaches, on-air broadcasters, and other sports personalities. Levine is based in the New York office and leads the agency’s entire sports practice, including its growth into property representation for naming rights and sponsorships, media rights, and corporate consulting.
Under Levine’s guidance, CAA Sports has negotiated some of the industry’s most ground-breaking deals and won a multitude of sports’ most widely sought-after partnerships, while continuing to foster the growth of its player representation business. Clients, among others, include NFL players Adrian Peterson, Robert Griffin III, Matt Ryan, and Tony Romo, the NBA’s Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh, MLB’s Ryan Howard, Matt Cain, and Buster Posey, the NHL’s Sidney Crosby, Claude Giroux, and Jonathan Toews, soccer stars Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham, and Olympians Bode Miller, Ryan Lochte, and Shaun White. In addition, CAA Sports represents multiple global properties such as the New York Yankees, FC Barcelona, Chelsea FC, and the “world’s most famous arena” Madison Square Garden, and has secured partnerships for these properties with such major brands and corporations as Delta Airlines, Anheuser-Busch, JPMorgan Chase, StubHub, and Pepsi. The agency represents the San Francisco 49ers, for which it has secured a naming rights partnership with Levi Strauss & Company, in addition to multiple title and signature partners for the new Levi’s Stadium with brands including SAP, Yahoo, Violin Memory, and Brocade, which will commence in the summer of 2014.

Additionally, he is an advocate for youth involvement in sports and continuing education. Levine serves on the fundraising committee for the Harlem Academy, an independent school that prepares bright, motivated students for success at secondary schools and lifelong learning. For the past eight years, he has provided children at the Harlem Academy with special sports-related experiences and served as a mentor and leader to both the students and their families.
In 2006, 2007 and 2008, Levine was recognized by Street & Smith’s The Sports Business Journal as one of the top 40 sports executives nationwide under the age of 40 and inducted into its Hall of Fame in 2008.
