Guillermo Ortega Rancé

Partner and COO of Mexico Media Lab since September 2015, an innovation agency that aims to help organizations understand, adopt and communicate emerging technologies, like data analysis, internet of things or Industry 4.0.

He has more than eight years of experience in management consulting in Spain and Latin America working with the international consultancy firm Everis Business Consulting, a subsidiary of NTT Data.

His domains of expertise within consulting are innovation management in corporations and regional development strategy in public organizations.
Among the public organizations que has worked with there is the Economy Ministry, the National Science and Technology Commission (Conacyt) and the National Digital Strategy Coordination, in Mexico; the Ministry of Economy and CORFO, in Chile; the Civil Service National Authority, in Peru; and regional autonomous governments of Andalusia, Catalonia, Galicia and Madrid in Spain.

In the private sector, he has led innovation-related projects in global and regional companies in the financial, telecommunications, logistics, tourism, food & beverage and education industries.

He has experience as speaker and moderator of technology and innovation-related topics, and has contributed with his opinion in TV and print media.

Guillermo is an Information Technologies and Telecommunications Engineer from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico, has an MBA from IE Business School in Spain, and has several certifications about innovation and emerging technologies from Harvard Business School, Singularity University and Columbia University.
