Stephen Woolley

Stephen Woolley is an award-winning producer and director whose prolific career has spanned over three and a half decades. He received the BAFTA award for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema in 2019, alongside his partner Elizabeth Karlsen. Amongst the almost 70 films he has produced are the Oscar-winning The Crying Game (1994), Interview with a Vampire (1994), Michael Collins (1996), The End of the Affair (1999), Made in Dagenham (2010), Their Finest (2015), Carol (2016), and Colette (2018). Upcoming projects include a Dusty Springfield biopic, a UK remake of Kurosawa’s Ikiru, and an adaptation of Graham Swift’s Mothering Sunday.
