Jeff Nienaber

With nearly 20 years in digital media and marketing and a lifetime in the world of advertising, Mr. Nienaber has built a diverse portfolio of business experience across a network of Seattle area start-ups and the Microsoft Advertising. His experiences range from digital agency, to global ad network, to multi-channel retail & specialty ecommerce, to vertical online publisher and local SMB marketing services. He currently serves as the Senior Director of Audience, leading global ad strategy for the Microsoft Audience Network, Data & Identity, Native Programmatic & the Video ad business.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Nienaber served as Vice President of Marketing & Media at Local Marketers Inc.; where he led the marketing, product & program management groups that designed advanced cost-per-call search marketing solutions for thousands of SMB clients, across 30+ locally oriented verticals, in the top 250 US DMAs. He also led the media products and customer acquisition groups at All Star Directories, the online marketing & merchandising group at multi-channel marketer Celebrate Express, and pioneered a ground-breaking affiliate program of over 85,000 partners for Freeshop.com/Aptimus. Before embarking on his career in digital marketing Jeff spent six years in the global fashion & entertainment industry.

Mr. Nienaber received his most valuable education from his father Michael, who taught him entrepreneurship and the media business at an early age from within the walls of his own advertising agency. He was formerly educated at Bellevue Christian High School & George Fox University.

A lifetime resident of the Pacific Northwest, Jeff currently lives in Kirkland Washington with his wife Kristie and their three daughters. In their free time they shuttle the girls between school, sporting & social events while trying to sneak in as much time as possible exploring the great outdoors with friends and family.
