Allison Galer
Since starting her own sports agency at age 22, Allison Galer has climbed to the top of her field. Galer received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and then launched her agency Disrupt the Game, a full-service agency of sports and entertainment talent, in April of 2012. She was admitted to the California State Bar after getting her law degree at UCLA (which she attended full-time while in the beginning stages of Disrupt the Game) and is a licensed WNBA, talent, and FIBA agent.
The Los Angeles native began her career in sports in high school interning for the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks; she went on to play basketball for a year at Brown, but decided to put her focus toward the business side of the sport. After working for companies like Fox Sports Net, Lagardere Unlimited and RaptorAccelerator, she knew what path she wanted to take.
Galer’s impressive client list includes Naismith Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie; 2-Time WNBA All-Star & ESPN NBA Analyst Chiney Ogwumike; USWNT & Portland Thorns star Crystal Dunn; WNBA All-Stars Betnijah Laney, Kelsey Mitchell, Erica Wheeler, and Elizabeth Williams; top WNBA athletes including Amanda Zahui, Michaela Onyenwere, Sami Whitcomb, and Brianna Turner.
In 2021, Galer added the title of Executive Producer, alongside Ogwumike, with the Emmy-nominated ESPN Films documentary “144”, chronicling the unprecedented WNBA season.
Disrupt the Game wasn't named by accident; Galer is all about changing the narrative of women’s professional athletes and helping her clients reach their full potential both on and off the court. She has been profiled by the likes of Forbes, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, Yahoo!, Sports Business Journal, Front Office Sports, and more.
