Adam Smith

Adam Smith is an multi award-winning film, television drama, documentary, and music video director, best known for his long-term collaboration with The Chemical Brothers. In 2015 he creatively directed the duo’s ‘Born in The Echoes’ world tour. The tour was praised as “spectacular” by Creative Review, and “an all-round aesthetic explosion” by the Guardian.
Smith has also collaborated extensively with Mike Skinner of The Streets. His banned from TV video for ‘Blinded by the Lights’ won the DMA Best Video and was nominated for the D&AD Silver Pencil in 2005.
Adam has directed commercials for Nike, Adidas, and The National Lottery. His commercial for the Jaguar F type launch starring Damian Lewis premiered at Sundance London 2013.

Trespass Against Us (for Film 4/BFI and Lionsgate) starring Michael Fassbender and Brendan Gleeson marks Smith’s debut as a feature film director. The soundtrack was provided by Tom Rowlands (Chemical Brothers).
