Chris Barton

Chris Barton is the Executive Director of Advertiser Insights at Disney. Chris’s team analyzes syndicated data and conducts primary market research, including advertising effectiveness, across all of Disney’s brands and platforms. Due to the constantly changing media landscape, Chris’s role requires him to continuously evaluate new and existing methodologies with the goal of optimal campaign design. The result is often an intersection of data, emerging technologies, and traditional applied research. Before his role at Disney, Chris was a director of research at ESPN and Golf Digest Properties. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and a master’s degree from New York University. He currently resides in Connecticut with his wife and two boys.
