Fiona Johnston

She has been awarded for the best work at Cannes and as a market CEO across all of industry, not only advertising and media. She believes in continual development of agency business to best foresee and manage positive change and ensure client happiness. With rightful recognition of a great agency team, not at their expense.
As an Executive Consultant Fiona has helped companies such as The Coca-Cola Company South Pacific, eBay APAC, and the Australian Football League to be the best they can be, as teams, individuals, and leaders. In her formative career years, she represented London Fashion Week, LVMH and Interbrew, then travelling extensively for PepsiCo Intl EMEA as the business and agency conduit for marketing communications across the region, covering football and music platforms.
As Chief Marketing and Business Officer for MediaCom/GroupM Fiona was a key architect and driver of the agency’s turnaround, helping lead annual business planning and board management structure, as well as new client partnerships. From there she led UM ANZ to awarded success as CEO, based in Sydney, from which she was promoted to the Global role in London for IPG Mediabrands.
She is also a full graduate of the Australian Institute of Chairmen and Directors.
Fiona was born and raised in London, has a degree from Edinburgh, where she also ran a successful nightclub. She now lives between Sydney and London, likes to scuba dive, hike and laugh.
