LaShana M. Lewis

LaShana M. Lewis is a technologist, strategist, and nationally-recognized advocate for innovative approaches to workforce practices. As CEO of L. M. Lewis Consulting, she partners with organizations across tech, nonprofit, and civic sectors to advance systemic change. A computer engineer with more than 25 years of experience in technology, Lewis has leveraged her expertise to champion skills-first hiring as Chair of the STARs Advisory Council at Opportunity@Work, where she helps rewire the U.S. labor market to value workers based on skills rather than degrees. She also hosts the Paperless Pathways Podcast, amplifying stories of STARs (individuals who are Skilled Through Alternative Routes). Named a role model in both tech and social responsibility, Lewis has been featured in national campaigns such as the Ad Council's Tear The Paper Ceiling. Her leadership continues to inspire new pathways to opportunity for underrepresented communities.
