Thomas Garvey

As a member of Google's Media Lab team, Tom is a lead on both Generative AI and Advanced Measurement across Google's priority marketing campaigns. Also, he oversees strategy and advanced testing for core pieces of the YouTube business, including YouTube TV and Sunday Ticket.
Before his YouTube role, he led Media Lab's North American efforts to launch the Pixel and Nest campaigns. And prior to joining Google in 2016, Tom worked at Google's agency of record, Essence Digital. There, he led the advanced testing team focused on machine learning and new bid optimization tools.
Tom currently resides in NYC, and when he's not working with a bunch of LLMs to stay sharp mentally, he dabbles in racing against a bunch of professional Ironman triathletes to try to stay sharper physically.
