Tyrese Maxey

Tyrese Maxey is a guard for the Philadelphia 76ers and a former first round pick from the University of Kentucky in the 2020 NBA Draft. Born and raised in Dallas, Maxey played high school ball at South Garland High School in Garland, Texas, where he graduated in the top five percent of his class. He was named to the 2018 USA Today All-Texas First Team and was a McDonald's All-American selection. At Kentucky, he undertook exploratory studies in agriculture before opting to leave to pursue an NBA career. Maxey dedicates his time off the court supporting community and youth programs in Philly and across Texas, having recently been awarded the NBA Community Cares Assist Award. Off the court, Tyrese works with a wide variety of brands. He is a New Balance Athlete, among his other partnerships. Tyrese has also been featured in one of Netflix's major projects with Adam Sandler, “Hustle”, alongside NBA stars Trae Young, Anthony Edwards and Jordan Clarkson.
