Cathy Applefeld Olson

Cathy Applefeld Olson is a veteran entertainment, media and culture journalist, and producer of video content and events. Through her coverage in publications including Billboard, Forbes, XLive and Cynopsis Media, Cathy delivers interviews and parses rapidly evolving industry trends across business, branding, tech, events and the metaverse.

A believer in the power of entertainment figures and institutions to positively effect mental wellbeing, Cathy recently produced and hosted a series of conversations for wellness company Myndstream with guests ranging from music artists to the mental health services lead at the Grammys’ MusiCares to the mother of Jarad "Juice WRLD" Higgins and founder of the Live Free 999 Foundation. She is currently assembling a community of talent and executives across entertainment, media and sports to share their endeavors in elevating mental health.
