Ian LaPlace

Ian specializes in helping brands create cultural authority through talent-led, owned content and experiential programs. He is the co-founder and VP of Talent and Content Programming for First Tube Media (FTM), the branded live digital experiences pioneer. He has more than 13 years talent buying and event production experience.

At FTM, Ian artfully matches brand attributes to band/artist and is the driving force behind Grubhub’s Sound Bites, the music franchise regularly hitting the top spots on Pollstar’s weekly livestream charts. Many of the artists he’s booked have gone on to have #1 hits. Ian is responsible for deploying over $10M in investment in under three years in the live digital experiences space.

Ian previously served as Spotify’s Live + Talent Manager. He also previously founded Seafarer Entertainment which booked and promoted over 1000 shows and also consulted with labels, venues, and festivals to make smart talent choices that drove business.
