Stephanie Small

Stephanie Small, is the Founder & Director of Black TAXI, by TAXI Toronto. Black TAXI is a creative & strategic division of the TAXI agency. In addition to offering advertising and consulting services to existing, new and prob-bono clients, Black TAXI's primary mission has been to attract, hire, and retain Black talent, and to lead change-an effort far exceeded in its first year of existence. Stephanie’s passion lies in creating diverse, inclusive, and equitable workspaces for people of color and making effective change in all communities. Stephanie has an extensive agency background across marketing, creative resourcing and operations. Prior to founding Black TAXI, Stephanie had created and been a part of many diverse initiatives including GayWT, Black Women’s Association (BWA), and Black Advertising Professionals (BAP), before founding People of Colour in (Canadian) Advertising & Marketing (POCAM). The group has amassed a membership of almost 1,300 members.
