Ben Simon is the Head of Video Sales at Vudu, overseeing all sales and operations teams for Walmart’s streaming platform. During his tenure in this role, Vudu has significantly grown ad revenue and expanded brand offerings—including new shoppable ads and brand integrations, all with precise targeting and tracking capabilities, powered by Walmart’s wealth of first-party data.
Prior to his time at Vudu, Ben spent nearly 10 years at Walmart in various leadership roles—as the Head of Walmart Partnership Marketing, and as the Head of Entertainment Marketing, where he was responsible for Walmart’s original programming efforts in partnership with Procter & Gamble. This breadth of experience provided Ben the opportunity to executive produce multiple original made-for-TV movies and series across NBC, ABC, and Fox, and to serve as the Chair of the ANA’s Alliance for Family Entertainment.
Throughout his career, Ben has developed and demonstrated a passion for working at the intersection of advertising, content, and retail, while his vast and myriad experiences have provided him with a detailed, full-funnel understanding of the needs of—and solutions for—advertisers.
Ben holds an M.F.A. from the University of Southern California, The Peter Stark Program, in Entertainment, as well as a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Furman University.
