Allan Cook

Allan Cook is Deloitte's Digital Reality Business Leader & is working with clients to develop and implement their strategies, pilots and solution implementations in VR, AR, MR, 360 & immersive. Allan is also the Global Technology, Media & Telco Sector Leader for Deloitte's Operations Transformation Practice, and has more than 30-years of industry experience. In this capacity, Allan works with a wide variety of organizations building their innovation strategies, corporate visions & business plans. His client work has focused on strategy, scenario planning, business transformation, innovation and digital reality .

Allan is also a member of CTA's working group on VR & AR and is an active & full voting member of the Television Academy for Arts & Sciences’ Interactive Media Branch.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Allan was a member of Technicolor’s Senior Leadership team as General Manager of the Media & Digital Services business unit. Also while at Technicolor, he was the Head of Market Strategy & Operations, the SVP for Innovation & Engagement and led Technicolor’s global relationship with Paramount Studios, Viacom and DreamWorks Animation. Allan developed significant experience for the entire content creation and distribution lifecycle, from pre-viz, VFX, production and post-production through theatrical distribution, post-theatrical & home entertainment services as well as the broadcast and OTT industries. Allan was also involved in the development and launch of numerous products and services for production, digital distribution and post production.

Previous to this, Allan led Hewlett-Packard’s global relationship with NewsCorp, its worldwide entities and DIRECTV. He has also worked in other Big 4 consulting firms in their M&E practices, leading a wide variety of engagements with traditional media & entertainment clients (major studios, mini-majors, broadcasters, cable & newspapers), new M&E companies (digital media, Internet, VOD & OTT), entertainment services firms (VFX, post-production, theatrical, post-theatrical & home entertainment) and industry professional & charitable organizations. His focus was on large-scale technology implementations and long-term strategy planning. Allan also has extensive experience working with telcos.
