Jennifer Selke

Fueled by her drive to connect people with meaningful work, Jennifer
Selke is dedicated to helping individuals and work teams improve
engagement and job satisfaction. Her consulting firm, WorkStrengths,
provides corporate trainings that create a strong work culture of
engagement that leads to increased efficiency, productivity and
achievement. Jennifer offers particular expertise in dynamics around
millennials; not only does she coach individuals born in the 80s and
90s, but she trains and educates employers on how to develop, manage,
leverage and retain this oft-misunderstood workforce.

Jennifer’s training as a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach augments a
long-standing career hiring, training, and mentoring 150 new employees
every year for Cal Youth and Outdoor Programs at the University of
California, Berkeley. In this role, as well as in her consulting
business, she challenges employees to identify their natural talents
and apply them effectively. Jennifer’s motto: “I help people do what
they do better.” Smart employers understand the benefits of investing
in the long-term success of their employees and how that directly
translates into business success for the company.

Jennifer holds a doctorate in educational psychology from the
University of California, Berkeley and has taught in the School
Psychology program for her alma mater’s Graduate School of Education
since 2005. Every year she also hires, trains, and mentors 150
teenagers and young adults for Blue Camp at UC Berkeley.
