Eric Tourtel

Eric Tourtel has more than 15 years of industry experience, bringing expertise in international sales, operations and business strategy to his current role as Senior Vice President of Teads in Latin America. Teads is a leading global technology company on a mission to reinvent advertising.

Since joining the company in 2013, one of Eric's key roles has been to drive Teads' ambitious international growth and increase Teads' footprint in Latin America. Within the last 5 years, Teads has grown to become the number 1 video advertising marketplace and the most premium video SSP, with seven offices dedicated to Latin America.

Eric is a recognized figure in the media industry and a pioneer in the evangelization of ad blocker awareness and viewability, bringing light to these inefficiencies before they became mainstream. He is also an outspoken ambassador of Outstream - a format Teads invented through which quality videos are placed in the heart of premium, editorial content.
Eric has worked with world-recognized publishers and content creators throughout his career. Previously he served as Head of International Sales at AOL Advertising. Eric was also Head of Sales at El Mundo, where he was instrumental in positioning El Mundo as the leading online magazine in Spain.

Eric is a French native, speaks three languages, and lives with his wife and three daughters in Miami, Florida. He is also a proud animal rescuer and an avid Rugby fan.
