Farid de la Peña

Farid is currently the Head for Distribution & Digital Marketing for Televisa. He oversees growth strategies for their digital platforms, Blim (OTT) and tune in strategies with TV. He is also in charge of Televisa’s development of Original Content on and off platform.

Before that, Farid led Televisa’s efforts with new distribution models and partnership deals through YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat, as well as managing their Social Media team which oversaw over 300 accounts.

Farid was also key in developing Televisa’s livestreaming models that go back to the World Cup in 2010 and led the Analytics Team for the group’s digital properties.

Farid has over 12 years of experience in broadcast TV and digital media with Televisa and he’s an Information Systems graduate from McGill University in Montreal.
