Rak Patel

Rak joined Spotify at the back end of 2017 as the new UK Head of Sales.

Having been in the digital arena for over fourteen years, he has worked closely with both the media and creative agency worlds. Starting his digital journey in 2003 at the Financial Times, he helped curate some of the progressive way of digital thinking at the world famous publisher. He spent his formative years at EMAP (Bauer) holding a number of roles across magazines, exhibitions and classified, all helping to build a strong foundation for his media sales career.

Before joining Spotify, he was responsible for the display advertising revenue ambitions at Auto Trader and prior to that spent seven years in management positions at Microsoft.
