Danny Donovan

Danny joined MediaCom in 2011 charged with launching a retail specialist team. That team now represents over £350m in billing for some of the world’s leading retailers including Tesco, Boots and ebay.

In 2014 Danny took on additional responsibilities as Joint Managing Director of MediaCom London, the UK’s largest and leading media investment company. That role incorporates a wide range of client, people, product and P&L responsibilities. His broad media planning and buying background gives him perspective across the agency landscape, and a commercial approach.

Prior to MediaCom, Danny was Managing Director of Initiative Media UK having spent 15 years working in the IPG network progressing through the ranks and, amongst other clients, helping Tesco become a global retail powerhouse.
His 30 year agency career also includes Saatchi & Saatchi, Zenith and MEC.

Danny is married with three grown up kids, six dogs, three horses, two cats and a tarantula.
