Satoshi Chikayama

Chikayama has won a number of domestic and global awards including a Gold Lion, AD Stars’ Grand Prix and the Music Spike. The award winning work included GIGA SELFIE, which allowed people to capture vast landscapes within a selfie. Native Mobile Music Video is another key highlight of his recent work. He succeeded in making viewers almost believe that their smartphones were hacked by the singers. He stunned the world and established his reputation as an innovative music video producer. It won him an assignment to produce music videos for AKB48, Japan’s leading pop group.

Chikayama also participated in an unprecedented social venture, partnering with a venture capitalist to support a startup that sells wheelchairs. He built a new brand image for them as “the wheelchair for those who still believe.” These accomplishments led him to become a Japan Advertising Agencies Association Creative of the Year medalist as well as Campaign AsiaPacific’s Japan/Korea's Creative of the Year.
