Emerson J. Sosa Ponce

As the EVP of Cultural Convergence at Zenith, Emerson leads the charge on all things cultural intel, multicultural, and DEI marketing across the agency. With culture becoming more and more of a point of differentiation in how brands engage with consumers, Emerson works with clients, agency leadership, and the various disciplines at the agency to ensure that a cultural perspective is woven into the media process from beginning to end. Emerson’s goal is to lead with culture to drive business results and build long-term relationships with consumers.

Emerson has experience working on a wide variety of categories and clients including, Allstate, P&G, Kimberly Clark, Bayer, AARP, Google, Dyson, General Mills, Hornitos Tequila, Amtrak, JM Smucker, Coty, and Shell (to name a few). He has worked on both the “General Market” side and on the Multicultural side of his clients’ business.

On a personal note, Emerson was born in El Salvador, grew up in Boston from the age of 3, attended Hamilton College in Upstate New York, lived abroad in Paris, spent a few years in Chicago, and now calls NYC home. He loves pop culture, music, and entertainment, and has a hunger for connectedness among cultures, languages, and people. Emerson lives in Long Island City (right by the Pepsi sign!) in New York with his partner, Justin.
