James Alexander

As VIZIO’s Director of Data Products & Measurement, James Alexander leads data quality and measurement strategy for Inscape, a 2023 Emmy recipient for Technology & Engineering.

James Alexander is an innovative media measurement expert & insights leader. He has more than 25 years on the advertiser, agency, and publisher sides of the business having helped brands like NBCU, Warner Bros Discovery, CNN, and Microsoft to create effective campaigns and transformative content strategy.

James has an innovation award from the Advertising Research Foundation, and an Ogilvy award for work with Microsoft where he was responsible for brand campaign goals and optimization. Among his many content innovations, James is the creator of the first continuous news ticker on television.
He has an MBA in Strategic Marketing from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, a BA in Media & Information from Michigan State University, and a CAS in Data Science from Syracuse University.
