Douglas Rowell

Douglas Rowell is an award-winning advertising, entertainment, and marketing veteran with over 20 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering multi-platform content and performance driven experiences that define how technology, business and the consumer engage each other.

As Founding President of AWLATAM, he oversaw the expansion of Advertising Week, the largest industry event in North America, including market research and development of strategic government, industry, and trade partnerships.

In his current role, Douglas is the Senior Executive of Advertising Week Latin America (LATAM) and Co-Chair of the Advisory Council, with a focus on operational oversight, strategic partnerships, as well as development and packaging of its live event and related original content for global media and partner networks.

As an entrepreneur he has successfully launched and managed several production studios and digital agencies over the last decade, with revenue growth over $20M, as well as secured multiple fortune 500 and entertainment companies as clients.

Douglas has concepted, developed, and produced award-winning animation, live action, and advertising projects for companies such as Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Discovery Networks, Disney Channel, Food Network, Mnet, Nickelodeon, Nintendo, Sega, and Yahoo! among many others. The projects he has been involved with have been honored with accolades from the Emmys, Effies, Canne Lions, and Webby Awards among many others.
