Desiree Talley

Desireé is an award-winning attorney and creative storyteller that meshes street & book smarts to influence culture through law. With a personal mission to promote the advancement, education, and protection of Black culture, Desireé educates creators on the legal significance of their deals by simplifying legal jargon as the creator and host of POPLAW Podcast.

Before launching Talley Law Group, a boutique entertainment law firm, Desireé held legal roles at BDG Media, Viacom Media Networks (Paramount), ASCAP, Pandora Media (Sirius XM), and Turner Entertainment Networks (TruTV). She has received several awards for her work representing creatives and honored as Top 40 Under 40 Attorneys.

Present day, Desireé has emerged as a powerful voice in the conversation where business, law, and pop culture intersect. She is a writer, public speaker, creator and Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs at REVOLT Media & TV. Desireé is a graduate of Hampton University, St. John’s University School of Law, and the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU.
