Danyel Surrency Jones is a business strategist, with over two decades of executive leadership experience in Fortune 500 companies to global start-up ventures. In Danyel’s previous role as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of POWERHANDZ Inc., a sports and fitness product tech platform, Danyel led the team through a multi-million strategic merger and tender offer. In her role as Director of Amazon’s Black Business Accelerator, Danyel leads Amazon’s $150M commitment over four years to empower Black entrepreneurs by providing access to financial assistance, strategic business education, and marketing and advertising support to help grow their businesses and greatly impact the overall community they serve. In addition, Danyel also leads Amazon’s Small Business Academy. She currently resides in Fairview, Texas with the joys of her life, husband, Darnell Jones, and their daughter, Hartley Rose, and son, Harper Jaz.
