Dan Tharp is proud to lead Media, Social and Analytics for the USAA Brand helping to ensure that USAA remains strong in the service of the military community and their families. USAA is one of America’s leading financial services companies. Founded in 1922 as an insurance association serving military families, USAA continues to pride itself in its service to its members and strong reputation in insurance, banking and financial advice and planning.
In his role at USAA, Dan is responsible for the strategic oversight of USAA’s brand advertising investments and the supporting analytics. His team plans, executes, and continually optimizes a portfolio of brand advertising across national video, brand social, digital and traditional media.
During Dan’s eight-year tenure at USAA, he has been responsible for developing brand safety standards, maturing social media practices, standing up a media center of excellence, national video strategy, and media strategy for USAA’s property.
