Kirsten Flanik
In her role, she leads the flagship office, helping to shape the direction and agenda for the agency, with a focus on people, “The Work,” and innovation that drives client growth.
Kirsten joined BBDO in 2006, was promoted to Managing Director in 2010, and appointed President in 2016. She has been named an Ad Age “Woman to Watch,” one of the “100 Most Influential Women in Advertising” by Ad Age, a “Woman of Influence” by the New York Business Journal and one of the top “female disruptors” in advertising and tech by Adweek.
Kirsten began her advertising career in 1989 in her home state of Florida. However, having never experienced a brutal winter, she thought Fallon Minneapolis would be a good next step. She spent six years at Fallon before moving to New York in 2001, where she spent five years at BBH as Head of Account Management and Head of Business Development.
Kirsten is a 1989 graduate of the University of Florida, where she has been selected as an Alumni of Distinction.
