In this session...

As Metaverse platforms evolve and multiply, so too are the instances of bullying in our emerging immersive and 3D virtual world. A recent study noted that 44% are very concerned about cyberbullying and online abuse in the metaverse, while personal safety and sexual harassment were cited as concerns by 39% and 38% of respondents, respectively.

This scenario is nothing new. Traditional social media platforms continue to confront toxic content, with “community management” a critical function to counteract online negativity.

What You'll Learn from This Session...

  1. Obtaining feedback and gathering ideas in the Metaverse. How community managers will provide support for virtual audience members, fans and customers when they need it.
  2. What Metaverse community management will look like, literally. With the immersive visual experience of the metaverse, communicators will act as metaverse avatars watchdogs.
  3. How brands can energize a movement and empower people to combat the negative side to Metaverse culture.
