Charlie Holmes

As Senior Vice President, Charlie leads NYI’s three regional sales teams. He is responsible for setting and executing the company's sales strategy, while increasing revenue and ROI across all NYI platforms (linear, digital, addressable and news products), and maximizing client acquisition and retention among agencies, brands and programmers.
With over 30 years’ experience, Charlie is a proven leader in launching cutting-edge advertising platforms and successfully bringing them to market. Before being named to his current position, he spent 15 years at NCC Media, most recently serving as Vice President and General Manager. In this capacity, he was responsible for leading sales teams and managing the company's linear programmatic platform, Passport, as well as the local advertising sales product, I+.
Prior to NCC, he was the Senior Vice President of International Sales for CNBC, responsible for U.S.-based advertisers looking to reach viewers across Europe and Asia. He also served as a Sales Representative for CNBC’s domestic channel.
His career began with a 12-year run at Blair Television. As VP/Director of Sales, he was accountable for national sales across key markets, including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Charlie also serves as Immediate Past-President for The Exchange Club of New Canaan,
a renowned volunteer organization dedicated to raising funds for local charities, with a central focus on the prevention of child abuse.
Charlie holds an M.A. from Michigan State University, and a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with a thesis on Multiple Forecasting System for the Telecommunications and Cable Industry.
