Marie Whitworth

Marie Whitworth leads Multicultural Brand Marketing at Pizza Hut, a division of YUM! Brands. She owns the audience strategy concentrated on African Americans, Hispanics, Gen Z, and the LGBT+ community. Her contributions of growing brand affinity among the fastest growing segments in the US is modeled around challenging tradition and uncovering consumer behavior through the lens of cultural insights.

Prior to Pizza Hut, Whitworth was an Experiential Brand Manager at Sprint, where she was responsible for managing the customer experience, promotional offers, and leveraging national sponsorship properties across the east coast. Previously, she worked on Sprint’s other notable brands, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, both rooted in youth and urban lifestyles.

Whitworth is a proud HBCU graduate from Clark Atlanta University with a B.A. in Business Marketing and Georgia State University with a M.S. in Marketing.
