Liz Gateley

Liz Gateley was named EVP, Head of Programming, of Lifetime in April 2015. Based in New York, she oversees all content creation for Lifetime.

Prior to joining Lifetime, Gateley and partner Tony DiSanto founded DiGa (part of ITV), a full-service production company. While at DiGa, Gateley and DiSanto executive produced MTV’s hit drama Teen Wolf and shepherded such reality hits as Kesha: My Crazy Beautiful Life, as well as the Oxygen series Player Gets Played.

Before launching DiGa, Gateley worked at MTV as Head of Series Development. In her first year, she created the game-changing reality show Laguna Beach and developed and executive produced its hit spinoffs The Hills and The City. Other smashes during her tenure included Teen Mom, 16 & Pregnant, Ridiculousness, Jersey Shore and America's Best Dance Crew.

Gateley, who received a degree in Economics/Business from UCLA and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, started her career in the William Morris Agency’s famed mailroom.
