Katie Zezima

Katie Zezima is a national political reporter at The Washington Post, covering the 2016 presidential campaign. She has also covered the White House for The Post.

Before coming to Washington, Katie was a correspondent in the Newark, N.J., bureau of the Associated Press, where she covered stories including Hurricane Sandy, the Sandy Hook shootings and the Boston Marathon bombings.

She spent nine years covering New England for The New York Times, reporting from lobster boats, snowmobiles and an elk preserve.

She was a 2011-12 Knight Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan. A graduate of Boston University, Katie lives in Washington with her husband.
