In this session...

A conversation on race, gender and social responsibility.

UniWorld Group is the longest-standing multicultural advertising agency in the US. It was founded in 1969 by advertising pioneer and Hall of Famer Byron Lewis because, at the time, people of color were being ignored in advertising.

Today in modern media, women and girls and especially people of color, are still not being portrayed as though their lives and roles in society matter. Byron Lewis once said, "If you really want to have an integrated society, there has to be an appreciation and understanding of culture from all corners of society."

Looking ahead to the next 50 years in advertising, this will be a dynamic conversation on the reaction of multicultural consumers and their engagement with brands as they respond to the ongoing issues of race, culture and social responsibility.
