Jon Gieselman

Jon Gieselman is senior vice president of Marketing for DIRECTV, the world’s largest pay TV provider. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of DIRECTV’s new customer and existing customer marketing. Functional areas include media planning and buying, creative, publicity, direct marketing, dealer/partnership marketing, customer communications, events and sponsorships. The team’s efforts are all directed at acquiring new DIRECTV subscribers, maintaining existing customers and shaping the overall perception of the brand.

Since joining DIRECTV in 2005, Gieselman and his team have helped profitably grow the business from 14 million customers to over 20 million today. The team successfully re-branded DIRECTV as the premier television service in the category, driving industry leading monthly revenue. He has created countless award-winning ad campaigns), and operates with intense focus on consumer driven marketing.
