John Lake

John is currently Vice President and LGBT Segment Manager on the Wells Fargo Enterprise Marketing Diverse Segments team. In that role he develops and drives national LGBT marketing strategy across Wells Fargo’s multiple regions and lines of business.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo he served for eight years as Corporate Development Director for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), America’s largest LGBT advocacy organization.

Before moving to the non-profit side at HRC, John ran his own company, Open Door Marketing, and served as Vice President Client Services at the Isosceles Group – both specialized in building consumer brands within the LGBT community. He also spent over a decade working for traditional advertising agencies on the West Coast, including DDB Worldwide and the Sachs Group.
