Avi Dan

Before founding Avidan Strategies, I spent 35 years at the very top of the Advertising industry with leading global agencies in senior management positions including as board member.

I served on the Executive Committee of Saatchi & Saatchi, where I was an EVP, head of Business Development, and on the global board of Havas, where I was their first Global Executive Director. As Managing Partner of mid-size, creatively focused Berlin Cameron, I help lead it to become the fastest growing major agency in America, and the agency was named “Agency of the Year” multiple times. Later I helped sell the agency to WPP. Prior to that I was an EVP at Y&R and D’Arcy (now Publicis).

During my career I worked with Procter & Gamble, Kraft, AT&T, Pfizer, Samsung, Sprint, General Motors, Pernod Ricard, Merck, Intel, Cigna, Coca-Cola, Progressive, The Wall Street Journal, Verizon, ADT, Safeway, Bristol Myers, Samsung, and Colgate-Palmolive.

I also write a weekly thought leadership blog about the marketing and advertising landscape for FORBES. The blog can be read at http:// www.forbes.com/sites/avidan/

I am a native of Israel, and a former army officer. I earned my B.S. in Economics and MBA from Columbia University.
