Tamara Tunie

Actor, Producer, Director, Entertainment Consultant. Ms. Tunie has had extensive experience in front of and behind the camera, as well as on stage. She is a Tony Award winning producer of Broadway shows (Spring Awakening, Radio Golf, Magic Vs Byrd), and Off-Broadway (The Dutchman at the Cherry Lane Theatre). She directed, produced and sold the independent film See You in September (starring Justin Kirk, Sandra Bernhard and Whoopi Goldberg), and as an Entertainment Consultant, has worked with companies and individuals in all areas of entertainment. Tamara stars as Marie Van der Veen on the Sundance TV series The Red Road, and continues to portray Medical Examiner, Dr. Melinda Warner, on the hit drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
