Kerry Keenan

With a reputation for creating brave and successful work, Kerry is a highly acclaimed and awarded creative director. She has a fresh, collaborative grass roots approach to unearthing big, high profile creative ideas for clients. Prior to Deutsch, Kerry co-founded Half Irish which specializes in branded/original content. Her most recent agency job was with Y&R as Global ECD and Founder of YR Entertainment. Stepping boldly into the realms of dark psychology, Kerry’s Land Rover creative deftly reinforced the brands “Safe Inside” positioning. She also worked at Saatchi & Saatchi where under her leadership P&G’s Crest became the most awarded brand in 2008 and JC Penney experienced its 2007 turnaround. Additional agency experience includes time with BBDO, Leo Burnett, and BBH.

She was Chair of the 2014 CLIO Branded Entertainment & Content Jury, responsible for recognizing and celebrating creative excellence, and has judged an array of award shows including AICP Next, Radio Mercury and the New York Festivals to name a few. Named an Advertising Age Woman to Watch, Kerry was also cited by Fast Company as the real world 'Peggy Olsen’ and made Business Insiders The Most Creative Women in Advertising lists in both 2013 and 2014. Kerry lives in NYC and is Mom to Lucy and Francis.
