Quincy Cherry

Quincy Cherry holds the position as the SVP, Executive Creative Director for UWG. He leads the creative strategy and vision on all client accounts. His responsibilities include the operations and execution of the Creative Department and overseeing the development of the Creative Department process, methodology, deliverables and budget. Mr. Cherry is also responsible for recruiting, managing and grooming creative senior managers, and for leading the department to creative solutions that fulfill client objectives and the Company’s creative vision.

Quincy has twenty-five years of advertising experience. Prior to joining UWG, Quincy spent eleven years at Matlock Advertising in Atlanta as the SVP, Chief Creative Officer,
developing digital and traditional content for BMW, Mini Cooper, Nationwide Insurance and Publix Supermarkets. Before Matlock, Quincy was Creative Director at Burrell Communications Group in Chicago where he managed the creative teams on McDonald’s, Coca-Cola brands (Coke Classic, Sprite, Minute Maid and Frutopia) Sears and Bacardi.

He has a B.F.A. in Advertising Design from the Atlanta College of Art (SCAD) and attended Parsons School of Design. He has taught Advertising Design at Clark Atlanta and The Creative Circus.
