Ryan Schinman

Ryan Schinman is not a household name, and quite frankly, that’s how he prefers it. Schinman is responsible for orchestrating some of the largest endorsement deals ever made between Madison Avenue and Hollywood. He is credited for creating such partnerships as Justin Timberlake and Sofia Vergara with Pepsi, Orlando Bloom with Hugo Boss, Matthew McConaughey with Dolce and Gabbana, Ellen Degeneres with CoverGirl, Lady Gaga to perform at Fontainebleau for New Years Eve, and Usher and Maroon 5 for DirecTV’s Superbowl events. He is also responsible for partnerships with Sex and the City 2 and Lipton as well as a nine-figure HBO and AT&T Wireless deal, to name just a few. Schinman, who could be considered the most powerful “invisible man” on the planet, lets his mega-deals speak for themselves.

From the beginning, Schinman was an entrepreneur. Growing up in New Jersey, Schinman admits that, although he may not have been the smartest kid in class, he had business savvy. At the age of 20, a senior at the University of Florida, Schinman convinced a friend on the football team to let him negotiate his NFL contract. From there, a natural negotiator was born. Schinman moved on to become a sports agent at Athletes & Artists and two years later was named CMO of Worldwide Sports and Entertainment (the first publicly traded sports marketing company). At the age of 26, Schinman opened his own consulting company, Platinum Rye Entertainment which is now “the world’s largest broker of celebrity talent, models, recording artists, sports figures and other celebrities for ad campaigns and P.R. events,” according to Forbes Magazine. The company’s US operation was bought by Omnicom in 2004.

Schinman has built Platinum Rye Entertainment into a one-stop shop for corporations looking to market themselves and their brands through the world of entertainment (he represents over 30 Fortune 500 companies and over 40 advertising and PR agencies). Besides, Platinum Rye Entertainment, Ryan also is a founding partner in Noise Marketing, a leading online and social marketing agency that was recently bought by Engine, whose clients include Intel, Coca Cola, and Panasonic. In addition, Ryan is also a founding partner in Miami Marketing Group (MMG), which produces events for clients ranging from Victoria’s Secret, ESPN, DirecTV, GMC and several large charities. They also own and operate Liv and Arcadia in Fontainebleau in Miami, and Oro in Punta Cana.

Beyond his business enterprise, Ryan also serves on the board of the Kessler Foundation; a public charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with physical disabilities. He also has been a supporter of Sunflower Children for over 5 years, which provides survival and development care for the forgotten children of the world in countries including Cambodia, Colombia, India and Russia.

When not working or giving back, Ryan can be found in West Orange, New Jersey, where he lives with his wife Samantha and their two year old daughter Gracie Rae. Ryan and Samantha also welcomed a son into their family, Brody Hart Schinman, in February of 2013.
