Jeremy Smith

As an entrepreneur, freight broker, and even a defibrillator salesmen, Jeremy K. Smith has pretty much done it all. Now entering his 3rd year with Chicago-based advertising agency commonground, he is a recently minted Senior Digital Strategist. His rise can be attributed to an intuitive familiarity with digital media, a passion for social, and an endearing drive to always create “fresh” and “new”. He also accredits his enthusiasm for the industry to his mother, who once reprimanded him for spending too much time hogging the phone lines on her dial-up modem. Ever since, Jeremy has been focused on influencing the way society and culture engage with the Internet.
Jeremy’s influence has impacted national and global brands including Coca-Cola, MillerCoors, Bacardi International, American Family Insurance, and Jordan Brand. His love for technology has helped commonground land new clients including Verizon Wireless, Nissan, PrimaLoft, and Dusse Cognac. He was most recently featured collaborating with his agency team on AMC's "The Pitch" where he heavily contributed to creating the winning social campaign for Little Caesars.
