On Thursday, September 26th from 2:00 – 6:30pm, The Weather Company, in partnership with The Climate Group and Climate Week NYC, will convene leaders in government, science, industry and NGOs for a Climate Conversation. Through one-on-one interviews, short talks, panel discussions and remarks by guest speaker NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, The Weather Company will shine a spotlight on some of the biggest thinkers, most compelling stories and boldest solutions for reducing the impacts of climate change. The program will cover the latest science, the most significant local and national policy initiatives, leading advocacy and public engagement efforts, new technologies and breakthrough innovations.

In a series of 3 short talks, leading researchers describe the latest discoveries and data impacting the three major ecological spheres – wildfire and drought, melting icecaps and smut spores in the air, and what it means for our weather.

Cutting through the clutter, these leading NGOs have found ways to stand out and effect change. The advocates will take on the challenge of how to make Americans view Climate Change as a top priority and a global issue of import.
