Anik Varés Leal

Anik has over 15 years of experience in Sustainability, Impact and
Community Development. She worked for more than 10 years at FEMSA
where she had the opportunity to form the Social Responsibility
department and later its evolution to a Sustainability area; develop and
measure the impact of community programs in Mexico, Latin America
and the Philippines, develop governance and methodologies for risk
management and community relations, among other responsibilities.
She has also been a consultant for Pepsico Mexico and Central
America, Vector Casa de Bolsa, Christel House Mexico, among other
organizations, and is currently sustainability and Impact manager at
Konfío, a Mexican business focused in providing financial services to
SMEs.
She has a degree in Humanistic and Social Studies from the University
of Monterrey, a Master's degree in Sociology from the London School of
Economics and Senior Management studies at IPADE.
Through her work, Anik continues to seek ways to contribute to closing
gaps and maximizing opportunities for a more prosperous and
sustainable Mexico.
