Vivek Rampal

Vivek is a business leader and marketing professional, with 3 decades of experience across industries and continents in Unilever, Diageo and BP. He is responsible for the marketing of Car & Bike oils in BP Castrol, which directly operates in 45 countries. His focus is on the Castrol brand, with Castrol EDGE as the billion dollar flagship power brand.

Vivek holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He worked in Unilever in a variety of positions across the marketing and sales functions, in India, Europe and Asia Pacific, and was appointed the SVP, Skincare for Asia Pacific and Africa in 2004. Following a 4 year stint in Diageo Asia Pacific, he joined BP in 2011.

Communication and innovation on brands are 2 areas of particular enjoyment for Vivek (and he loves to push the boundaries on both!).

Vivek is married with 2 children and is based in Singapore. His interests in include literature, travel and theatre.
