Nigel Carrington has been Vice-Chancellor of UAL, Europe's largest art and design university, since 2008. A leading advocate for creative education and the creative economy, he is Chairman of the Henry Moore Foundation, a director of the Creative Industries Federation, and a member of the Board at Universities UK.
Educated at Oxford University, he also holds a Graduate Diploma in the History of Art from the Courtauld Institute. He was formerly a senior international lawyer and Managing Director at McLaren Group.
